Mylords Floral has created flower arrangements for many special events in and around Anchorage including the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce annual Athena Awards Luncheon, University of Alaska Board of Regent’s Dinner, and The Friends of the NRA annual fund raising banquet.

Family Matriarch - Robin Phillips, AIFD
Robin is a 14 year transplanted Alaskan. Originally from Central California she received her Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal-Poly State University in San Luis Obispo. Following college she interned at several flower shops across the country before settling down as head of the floral department at Los Angeles’ prestigious Biltmore Hotel. She took a break from the floral industry to raise her 4 children but was drawn back in when her family relocated from Southern California to Alaska in 1994. In July 2006 Robin was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Design. She and her late husband, Brian purchased MYLORDS Floral in 1995.
Owner & Delivery Stud - Travis Hill
Travis is the 2nd oldest of Robin’s 4 children and moved with the family to Alaska from Southern California in 1994 at the age of 7 years. After graduating high school from Lumen Christi in Anchorage, he went on to earn several welding certifications from the University of Alaska Anchorage. In 2005 he met and fell in love with Joy Carr who was working here at MYLORD’S. They were married in May 2007. Travis was pursuing a career in structural welding when he decided it was time to take over the family business. Travis now spends most of his time delivering your flowers in a classic tuxedo. Look for him and the MYLORD’S Jeep next time you’re out and about!
Owner & Lead Designer – Joy Hill
Joy was born and raised in Nikiski, Alaska. After high school she decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a floral designer. She moved to Anchorage and took a floral design class from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She then decided to get her foot in the door at a local flower shop, which brought her here, to MYLORDS. She started as part of our sales and support staff, gradually moving up to the design table. In May of 2007 Joy married Travis Hill, son of Robin Phillips.
Event Coordinator/Office Manager – Adina Kamilos
Adina is the eldest of Robin’s 4 children and moved with the family to Alaska from Southern California in 1994. She started working at the shop at age 14. She took a 3 year break to pursue a job with Alaska USA Federal Credit Union but after the birth of her first child decided she wanted to be back in the family business. She now handles all the special events as well as the day to day office managerial work.
Designer - Karlan Hill
Karlan is the 3rd oldest of Robin's 4 children and moved with the family to Alaska from Southern California in 1994 at the age of 5 years. She has followed in her mother's footsteps and has become a fabulous floral designer in her own right.
Delivery Stud - Thomas Martin
Thomas is Robin's nephew, the only child of Robin's younger sister Christie. He moved to Alaska in August 2009 from Porterville, California. He graduated from Porterville High School in 2008 and is currently enjoying all the adventures that come from living in the Last Frontier. Thomas delivers you flowers dressed in a classic tuxedo! Look for him and the MYLORD'S Jeep next time you're out and about.
Sales Associate - Jennifer VanderWall
Jennifer joined the MYLORD'S staff in June 2011. Originally from Aurora, Colorado, Jennifer followed her then fiance to Alaska in August 2010 when the U.S. Army stationed him at Ft. Richardson. They were married soon after and are enjoying newlywed life in Anchorage.
Head of Moral/Designer In Training - Sophia Kamilos
Sophia is Adina's oldest daughter. She was born on Valentine's Day 2006 and has been acting as our head of moral ever since. She comes to work with her Mommy most days. She enjoys dusting and organizing our supplies, creating arrangements and helping care for her little sister and twin cousins.
Head of Stress Managment - Isabella Kamilos
Isabella is Adina's youngest daughter. She was born Christmas Eve 2009 and currently serves as our shop mascot. She comes to work with her Mommy most days and spends most of her time wreaking havoc around the office and playing with her big sister and twin cousins. One grin from this little chipmunk and you forget how much trouble she should be in.
Shop Minion - Mabelle Hill
Mabelle is Travis and Joy's oldest daughter. She and her twin sister Khloe were born June 15, 2010. Mabelle is her sister's right hand in all grand schemes. She spends most of her time exploring the playroom.
Shop Minion/Firecracker - Khloe Hill
Khloe is Travis and Joy's youngest daughter. She and her twin sister Mabelle were born June 15, 2010. Khloe likes to climb, jump, swing and generally wreak havoc around the playroom. It's her way or the highway.
